For more information, visit www.roadie.com.We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer that will help shape the future of RoadieXD™, Roadie's cross-dock solution, while contributing to geospatial services and other foundational platform capabilities. You'll partner across Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve complex logistics challenges, influence technical direction, and build scalable systems that power millions of deliveries. If you enjoy tackling difficult engineering problems, owning features end to end, and seeing your work make a measurable impact, you'll thrive in this role.What You'll DoDesign, build, and test the APIs and services that power RoadieXDDevelop internal and customer-facing tools, primarily in React, that enable our cross-dock operations to scale efficientlyPartner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve complex logistics challenges and deliver high-impact featuresInfluence architecture and technical design decisions that improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of the Roadie platformWrite clean, maintainable code backed by automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and modern engineering best practicesContinuously improve existing systems by identifying opportunities to enhance performance, developer experience, and long-term maintainabilityTechnologiesLanguages: Primarily, Go and/or Ruby on Rails for backend. Experience in other backend languages considered. For frontend, React. Data: Postgres, Redis, KafkaInfra & Devops: AWS, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, CircleCIWhat You Bring6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applicationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experienceExperience building scalable, distributed systems and APIs in production environmentsStrong proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, Python, etc.) and experience working with modern frontend frameworks such as ReactExperience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, well-tested softwareStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challengesAbility to make thoughtful technical decisions and balance short-term needs with long-term maintainabilityExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering across Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teamsCuriosity, ownership, and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quicklyWhy Roadie?
