We are looking for senior retouchers to join a fast-paced retouching and digital art team working on high-quality visual content, including catalogues, campaigns, and digital media. We pride ourselves on precision, creativity, and collaboration, delivering work that looks flawless and on-brand.300,000 Maximum Benefit Limit HMO Benefit with one free dependent on day one.Group life insuranceOvertime, holiday, and night differential pay.Up to 20 leave credits.Birthday leave credit.Carry-over of unused leave credits.Remote work arrangement with available pro-working space at any KMC site.• Delivering retouched imagery for print and digital artwork • Perform colour correction, skin and product retouching, compositing, and general image clean-up • Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards • Manage the weekly and campaign needs for ALDI, including timelines and budget allowances pershot• Collaborate with photographers, art directors, and other retouchers to achieve the creative vision • Manage other BMF clients’ retouching/post-production requirements • Advise the Photography studio on best approach for shooting regarding post-production needs• Digital image creation using AI tools• Fluent in English reading and writing with strong communication skills • 5+ years of professional retouching experience (studio, agency, or freelance)• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop• Solid understanding of colour, lighting, and composition • Ability to take direction and also make creative decisions independently • Strong technical knowledge about print and digital imagery, including colour profiles, file formats, image resolutions, image resizing and production processes • General knowledge of photography and the photographic industry • Experience in and/or willingness to learn digital image creation using AI tools • Competent with a Wacom and Apple Mac OS• Positive, upbeat and team-orientated• A self-motivated go getter• A keen learner who is happy working independently • Passionate about creating fantastic work and pushing a brief • Exceptionally well-organised • Reliable and detail-oriented • Calm, patient, with a ‘can do/happy to help’ attitude at all times • Supportive of the team, photographers, assistants, external partners, overall agency, client, etc. • Adaptable and flexible with changes in decisions and procedures • Experience in AI image generation desirable • Experience with photography desirable • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Planner etc.) • Comfortable working within Australian time zones (overlap required for communication andreviews)Originally posted on Himalayas
