The role requires deep supply market expertise, strong cross functional influence, and the ability to convert business requirements into executable sourcing roadmaps.This position leads end to end strategic sourcing, including market intelligence, competitive bidding, negotiation, supplier development, and long term contracting, while advancing TCO improvements, cross region collaboration, and lifecycle support. Strategic Thinking & Commodity Strategy Development • Develops and owns multi year commodity strategies aligned to business objectives, manufacturing requirements, and product roadmaps. • Synthesizes market intelligence, cost drivers, geopolitical trends, and supplier capabilities into actionable strategy recommendations. • Anticipates future supply needs and identifies alternative sources to ensure continuity and competitiveness. 2. Supplier Relationship Management & Development • Builds strong supplier partnerships that drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Leads supplier performance reviews, corrective actions, and capability building initiatives including cost modeling and value engineering. building initiatives including cost3. Execution Excellence & Process Optimization • Executes sourcing events (RFPs, bid evaluations, supplier selection) to consistent global standards. • Uses analytics, KPIs, and cost modeling to track performance and drive continuous improvement in cost, risk, and processes. 6. Risk Management & Compliance • Identifies and mitigates risks related to supply continuity, capacity, geopolitics, quality, and financial stability. • Ensures adherence to TE policies, ESG requirements, regulatory standards, and documentation governance. Job RequirementsWhat your background should look like:5–7+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Management, or advanced Procurement roles. • Demonstrated experience leading global sourcing strategies and delivering measurable results. • Strong supplier management and supplier development background, ideally in a manufacturing or engineered‑products environment. • Expertise in cost analysis, should‑cost modeling, and understanding of manufacturing processes. • Proficiency in Excel, data analytics tools, and sourcing dashboards; SAP PR2 or S/4 HANA experience preferred. • Strong negotiation skills with proven success in complex contract management. • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, executive‑level presentations). • Project management experience strongly preferred. • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence without authority in a global matrixed environment.
