" – Civil Engineering Technician"Having the feeling that my voice matters and believing that SEH truly cares about the employees is so satisfying!" – Sr Financial Analyst"It feels good having colleagues and supervisors that provide support and resources for growth and learning!" – Civil Engineer"This is the first company I've worked for with a true entrepreneurial spirit." – Sr Mechanical EngineerWhy you’ll love SEH:Collaborate on amazing projects of varying size and complexity that positively impact communitiesBeing 100% employee-owned means we all share in the company’s successCareer development through continued education, licensure/certification, skills, and technical trainingWork arrangements that promote work/life balanceFlexible holidays enable individuals to tailor their festivitiesPaid Family Leave provides time to care for loved ones, whether family by birth or family by choiceThis Opportunity:Providing expertise on a wide variety of GIS-related projects for both internal and external clientsPerforming data analysis, advanced map development, configuration of web-based GIS solutions, and developing automation in the ArcGIS environmentApplying knowledge of GIS to a variety of projects for analytical, land use, and environmental purposesCompiling, analyzing and preparing data, Story Maps, maps and mapping applications for various project types and practicesMaintaining geographic information system data sets, according to evolving needs and resources including digitizing, editing, research, creation, calculation and editing of attributes and merging data from different sources, data sets, applications and proceduresCreating, maintaining and conducting quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of geographic data sets using a variety of software and source data Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, Computer Science, or GIS-related field from an accredited college or universityProgressively responsible experience in developing, integrating, implementing, and maintaining GIS technologies and applications Extensive experience with Esri software, especially ArcGIS Pro 3.3 and ArcGIS OnlineExperience in developing automation within the ArcGIS environment using scripting languages such as SQL, Arcade or Python Experience configuring ArcGIS Field Maps and other Esri mobile applicationsExperience with high-accuracy GPS data collectionProvide excellent customer service to internal and external clientsAbility to work in both an independent and team environment and the ability to work/accomplish tasks with little supervisionAbility to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc; Occasional overnight travel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications:A minimum of five (5) years of experience.Experience with GIS data integration with civil engineering processes and software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.Experience with asset/infrastructure management softwares and associated GIS data integration.Who We AreBetter Places.
