Junior Staff Accountant

**Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. This entry\-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment. The Junior Staff Accountant will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards while contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. **This position is on\-site, NO REMOTE applicants will be considered.** **Responsibilities** * Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. * Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation. * Conduct cash flow analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. * Participate in regulatory reporting and auditing processes as required. * Assist with monthly financial reporting * Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare financial reports and interpret financial data for management review. **Experience** * A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related major is required. * A foundational understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits \& credits, and accrual accounting is essential. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks is required. * Experience with financial software and tools that support effective financial management is advantageous.
