Ai Agent Engineer (Claud Code)

Only for Engineers Who Have Actually Built and Deployed AI Agents We are looking for a **hands\-on AI Agent Engineer** who has already built and launched **working autonomous agents in real environments**. This is not a prompt engineering role. This is not experimentation or hobby work. If you haven’t deployed agents that interact with APIs, tools, or workflows in production, this will not be a fit. What You’ll Be Building You’ll design and deploy **autonomous AI agents** that can: * Execute multi\-step workflows * Interact with APIs and external tools * Make decisions based on inputs and context * Trigger actions across systems (CRM, messaging, internal tools, etc.) These agents will be used in real business operations, not prototypes. Core Stack (Must Have Experience) * Strong experience using **Claude Code** (not just chat interface) * Experience building with **Mastra** or similar agent frameworks * Comfortable integrating APIs, webhooks, and external services * Experience with automation tools like **n8n** or **Make** * Ability to connect agents to databases, CRMs, and third\-party systems What You’ll Actually Do * Architect and build autonomous agents from scratch * Define agent logic, memory, and tool usage * Integrate APIs and external systems via webhooks * Debug and optimize agent performance in real\-world use * Work fast, iterate quickly, and deploy working systems What We’re Looking For * Proven experience building **real, deployed AI agents** (not tutorials) * Strong understanding of LLM behavior, limitations, and orchestration * Ability to think in systems, not just code snippets * High ownership. You can take a concept and turn it into a working product * Comfortable working without rigid specs Bonus (Not Required, But Valuable) * Experience with headless tools / no\-code builders (e.g. Webflow, Retool, or similar) * Background in backend development (Node, Python, etc.) * Experience designing internal tools or automation systems Not a Fit If * You’ve only used ChatGPT/Claude conversationally * You’ve never deployed a working agent * You rely heavily on tutorials without understanding systems * You need highly structured step\-by\-step instructions How to Apply: Submit your Resume and Introduction Pay: $17,850\.00 \- $28,989\.00 per month Work Location: Remote
