Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)

**Job Overview** We are hiring eager MFT associates for hybrid private practice (we do not accept health insurance). This position is ideal for a self\-driven and highly motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. The perfect candidate is ambitious, business minded, focused on growing their own caseload through marketing and networking, and has current or potential clients they can bring with them. This is a W\-2 remote position with starting pay at $75/hour and opportunities to increase rate up to $100/hr (based on case load). Candidates who identify as South Asian and/or BIPOC individuals, as well as have an understanding of first\-generation immigrant experiences, and are passionate about working with couples are highly encouraged to apply!" **If interested, please email resume and qualifications to salonia.singh.therapy@gmail.com** **Responsibilities** * Offer individual and couples therapy sessions to clients * Perform mental health assessments and create tailored treatment plans * Attend weekly supervision sessions (which may be individual, triadic, or group based on group needs) * Engage in ongoing evaluation of client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary. * Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes using appropriate coding and language * Grow caseload through self\-promotion and outreach * Aim to increase caseload by 1\-2 new clients per month, with the goal of reaching a minimum of 10 clients per week **Skills** * Demonstrated commitment to **culturally competent care**, with experience working with diverse populations including BIPOC, LGBTQIA\+, and multicultural couples. * Proficient in **couples therapy modalities** such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, or other relational frameworks. * Strong foundational knowledge in **systems theory** and relational psychodynamics applied in private practice settings. * Ability to maintain **ethical and legal standards** set by the BBS and California state laws for pre\-licensed clinicians. * Excellent **clinical documentation and case management** skills, including progress notes, treatment planning, and outcome tracking. * Comfortable working under supervision while demonstrating autonomy and initiative in managing a client caseload. **Qualifications** * Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or related mental health field * Active associates number * Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines * Desired: specialty training in EMDR, brainspotting, EFT, Gottman, Polyvagal theory, IFS * Job Type: Part\-time Pay: From $75\.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 28 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Flexible schedule Work Location: Hybrid remo
