Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC.What you’ll doShape how AI-powered capabilities show up across complex financial workflowsTranslate emerging technical capabilities into intuitive, human-centered experiencesDesign systems that balance automation, transparency, and user controlSimplify technical and regulatory complexity into understandable workflowsAnticipate edge cases, failure states, and operational risks in high-stakes domainsCreate scalable interaction patterns and escalation models for AI-assisted experiencesPrototype new interaction models and design detailed, high-quality product experiencesPartner closely with engineering, product, research, and data teams to ship thoughtful outcomesWhat we're looking for6+ years of experience leading complex, end-to-end product design initiativesThrive in ambiguity and enjoy shaping strategy and direction, not just executing requirementsThink in systems and workflows, not just individual screensHave experience designing fintech, AI-powered, data-heavy, or workflow-driven productsBalance automation with transparency, trust, and user understandingPrototype fluidly to explore both interaction logic and product craftCare deeply about quality, correctness, and usability in high-stakes domainsBring strong product judgment, communication skills, and ownership to your workThe total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits. Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
