Software Quality Analyst (contract)

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and scripts across the full solution stack, including UI, application layer, REST APIs, and web services. You will work closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers in an Agile environment to ensure comprehensive test coverage and the highest standards of software quality. Responsibilities: * Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts for UI using Selenium with Java and for REST APIs using Rest Assured and TestNG, following the Page Object Model design pattern * Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bamboo and GitHub, and manage source code using Stash (Bitbucket) * Execute automated tests across multiple browsers using Selenium Grid for parallel test execution * Build and implement SQL queries to validate databases using automation tools * Develop feature files using Gherkin language for Behavior\-Driven Development (BDD) * Participate in test planning, test case design, defect reporting, and root cause analysis using JIRA * Identify, document, and report bugs clearly and concisely, and validate bug fixes upon resolution * Document, communicate, and escalate test results and defects to appropriate stakeholders * Provide accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution activities * Contribute to the development and enhancement of Enterprise Test Automation Frameworks as needed * Coordinate activities between US\-based and remote testing teams as required * Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage * Apply critical thinking to translate complex application flows into well\-structured, comprehensive test cases * Perform cloud and mobile automation testing as needed Skills: * Strong hands\-on experience with Selenium Java, Rest Assured, and related web UI automation tools * Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL for automating tests across the full solution stack * Experience with testing frameworks and tools including JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, and Postman * Familiarity with
