We seek a skilled Lead, Senior Technical Program Manager. This role involves managing complexity, guiding expert multidisciplinary teams, and transforming strategic business objectives into technical outcomes.As a Lead Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:Serving as a lead for the Server Team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvementDriving multiple high-impact, complex projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with Akamai's core business objectivesFacilitating collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, connecting engineering, product, and operations while fostering relationships with internal teams on server hardware components.Acting as a critical contributor to Akamai's global success by optimizing server performance and reliability at scaleSupporting cross-functional teams and providing subject matter expertise in planning and execution of multiple projects and programsFostering effective communication while ensuring precise documentation and reporting on program status, risks, opportunities, dependencies, and success metrics to stakeholders.Engaging consistently with key collaborators, communicating progress effectively, evaluating risks, understanding priorities, and proposing solutions while implementing continuous process improvementsDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have experience in team management and people leadershipHave technical skills within server hardware and software scope including GPUs and smartNICs / DPUsDemonstrate proficient experience in program or project management in a cross functional and technical teamDemonstrate proficient experience in managing agile work processes and experience/ skills in managing external vendors relationshipsDemonstrate interpersonal and organizational skills while communicating effectively and adapting swiftly to shifting priorities in dynamic environmentsDemonstrate initiative with analytical expertise, solve problems effectively, make decisions, collaborate well, and engage in creative, innovative projects.Build your career at AkamaiOur ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you.
