Paid training is provided to ensure you succeed in this exciting seasonal opportunity. **Duties** * Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and small business clients using various accounting software tools such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other tax preparation platforms * Review financial documents, including income statements, expense reports, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness * Assist clients in understanding their financial situations by explaining tax concepts and potential deductions clearly and professionally * Conduct data entry with precision, including 10 key typing tasks to ensure efficient processing of client information * Identify partnership tax issues and provide guidance on partnership filings when applicable * Support marketing efforts by engaging with clients to promote additional financial services or software solutions * Maintain organized records of all client files, tax documents, and correspondence in compliance with confidentiality standards **Skills** * Strong understanding of accounting principles, corporate accounting, and financial concepts * Proven experience with tax return preparation for individuals and small businesses; partnership tax expertise is a plus * Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms; experience with financial software is highly desirable * Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data accurately and identify potential issues or deductions * Exceptional customer service skills to communicate complex information clearly and build trust with clients * Ability to perform detailed math calculations quickly and accurately under tight deadlines * Technical accounting knowledge combined with sales acumen to promote relevant financial products or services effectively This seasonal role offers an engaging environment where your accounting expertise makes a real difference.
