Software Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of software and automation engineers responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and validating automation solutions for Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes-based environments.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.10+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, DevOps, cloud-native platforms, telecom platforms, or infrastructure engineering.3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams, technical teams, or complex cross-functional engineering initiatives.Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.Strong programming and scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages.Experience designing, developing, or managing automation frameworks for deployment, validation, certification, or lifecycle management.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure automation.Experience with Oracle 5G Network Functions, Oracle 5G software deployment, or telecom network function automation.Experience with Oracle 5G ATS or similar test automation and certification frameworks.Hands-on experience with F5 Aspen Service Mesh, F5 Service Proxy for Kubernetes, F5 ASM, or similar service mesh, proxy, networking, or security platforms.Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerized workloads, and platform integration.Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes networking, ingress, DNS, certificates, storage, operators, and cluster lifecycle management.Experience troubleshooting complex deployment, automation, platform, networking, or application issues in Kubernetes-based environments.Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage priorities, delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and engineering execution across multiple workstreams.BenefitsFlexible medical, life insurance, and retirement optionsVolunteer programsEqual Employment Opportunity EmployerOriginally posted on Himalayas
