Study Moderator

**Description** Work Location: Hybrid remote/onsite location in Sunnyvale, CA Work Schedule: Schedule varies, overtime may be required Job Status: Full\-Time, temporary. Start Date: June 22, 2026 Tentative End Date: This is a contract role. The project is expected to run through July 31, 2026, but could be extended based on project needs Rate: $33\.00/hour Position Description: Backup Moderators / Data Off loaders serve a critical dual function. Their primary day\-to\-day responsibility is managing all incoming and outgoing data hard drives. Handling data uploads, tracking delivery status, and ensuring all study data reaches the designated Client facility on time. They are also fully trained and expected to travel to act as active Moderators at venues as needed. Main Responsibilities: * Receive, handle, and manage all incoming and outgoing SSD hard drives containing collected study data from Data Collection venues * Upload data from received hard drives to the designated platform in a timely manner * Track the status of all data post\-upload, ensuring no data loss or missing uploads * Receive SSD hard drives dispatched from Data Collection locations on a weekly basis * Perform manual sanity checks on all received data by reviewing data size, file names, folder structure, and venue\-specific individuals captured on SSDs and backup drives * Manually review data on the client platform to confirm complete receipt and promptly report any missing data * Ensure all data drives are password protected and stored securely * Be protocol\-trained and ready to deploy as an active Moderator/Data Collector at a venue in the Los Angeles area upon request * Represent and promote the TELUS International AI brand This describes the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions. Required Qualifications: * 24 months of Study Moderation experience * Experience with data management, file handling, and digital storage workflows * Strong attention to detail for data integrity verification (file sizes, folder structures, naming conventions) * Must be technically savvy Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with chain of custody procedures for sensitive hardware and data * Experience with progress tracking and reporting (DC Daily Reports, Adverse Incident Reports) * Experience working across multiple venue types * Experience working under strict confidentiality and security conditions TELUS Values: TELUS recognizes and embraces the importance of values in our ever\-changing workplace.
