Accounts Payable Specialist

Where: Remote. Apply to start the initial screening process and get hired faster!Responsibilities:- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals.- Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records.- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting processes.- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and issues.- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable systems and processes.- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems.- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes.Requirements-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsCompetitive salaryWork with top U.S. or European companiesWork remotelyOriginally posted on Himalayas
