The platform reduces alert noise by identifying the critical 5% of truly reachable and exploitable risks across the SDLC—from GenAI-generated code to cloud runtime. We enable developers and security teams to ship secure software faster through visibility,automation, and actionable security intelligence.We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer to join our Security Research group. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you will:Work closely with security researchersTurn prototypes, scrapers, and research pipelines into scalable production systemsOwn projects end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, and maintenanceBuild systems powering open-source intelligence and security research effortsResponsibilities:Design and build scalable backend systems and data pipelinesTransform research prototypes into production-grade servicesWork with large datasets and high-scale systemsCollaborate closely with security researchers and engineersEnsure reliability, performance, and maintainability of servicesContribute to architecture decisions and system designLeverage AI/LLMs and automation tools to improve engineering workflowsRequirementsRequirements:5+ years of backend development experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar)Experience building and operating production SaaS servicesStrong experience with high-scale systems and large datasetsAbility to independently drive projects end-to-endExperience designing scalable architectures and data pipelinesStrong problem-solving and builder mindsetComfortable using AI tools / LLMs in development workflowsNice to Have (Bonus Points):Experience at a cybersecurity startupMalware analysis or reverse engineering (obfuscation, encryption, sandboxing, time-bombs)Originally posted on Himalayas
