If you thrive in a competitive environment and are passionate about supply chain solutions, this is your opportunity to make an impactful difference! **Responsibilities** * Develop and nurture relationships with shippers, carriers, and clients to generate new business opportunities through lead generation and inside sales efforts * Coordinate transportation management activities, including dispatching, freight booking, and carrier sales to ensure timely delivery of goods * Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with carriers and clients to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction * Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and AS400 platforms to streamline operations and maintain accurate data entry records * Manage logistics planning by analyzing supply chain requirements, optimizing routes, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations when applicable * Handle account management duties by providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining long\-term client relationships * Support transportation sales initiatives through cold calling, lead follow\-up, and developing tailored logistics solutions for diverse industries such as 3PL (Third\-Party Logistics) providers or NVOCC (Non\-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations **Experience** * Proven experience in supply chain management, transportation management, or logistics sales with a focus on freight brokerage or 3PL services * Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, EDI protocols, and AS400 platforms for efficient operations * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and pricing agreements * Knowledge of logistics planning, transportation sales strategies, carrier relations, and freight dispatching processes * Experience working within regulated environments such as FDA compliance is a plus * Demonstrated ability to generate leads through inside sales efforts and develop lasting customer relationships * Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem\-solving in a fast\-paced logistics setting Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise fuels supply chain efficiency!
