In this role, you will partner closely with leadership to shape company culture, attract top talent, and develop scalable people processes that support rapid growth. This position requires a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. The role will report directly to the CFO. What You’ll doBuild and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems from scratchLead full cycle recruiting to attract and hire top talentDesign and manage onboarding and offboarding processesDevelop and maintain a strong, positive company cultureHandle employee relations, feedback, and conflict resolutionCreate and maintain performance management and employee development programsEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulationsManage compensation, benefits, and equity programs Process domestic semi-monthly and international payroll monthlySupport leadership with organizational planning and scaling strategiesOversee HR tools, systems via Resourcing Edge with employee dataEvents planning as neededProvide employee coachingAdministration of Immigration casesQualificationsExperience scaling a company or building HR from scratch, 0-1 experienceFamiliarity with startup compensation structures Experience with modern HR tools (Lever, LinkedIn, Resourcing Edge etc.)Experience working with AI tools5 plus years of experienceAdaptability and flexibilityStrategic thinking with hands-on executionStrong recruiting and talent assessmentCulture building and employee engagementDecision-making in ambiguous environmentsWhy Join UsOpportunity to shape the people function from the ground upHigh impact role with visibility to leadershipFast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environmentGrowth and career development opportunitiesOriginally posted on Himalayas
