Job Title: DBA Graduate Assistant - Faculty Support (Part-time/Temporary)Reporting Relationship:Chair of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)Unit: National & GlobalDepartment: Doctor of Business Administration - National & GlobalCampus Location: Online/RemoteSummary of Position:Graduate Assistants will primarily perform administrative tasks to serve the DSB and the DBA program. Each will be assigned an area of responsibility such as International Students, Student Support/Ombudsperson, and Faculty Support. Under those areas of responsibilities, tasks will be assigned by a lead faculty or administrative staff. In some cases, GAs may be asked to assist professors with class administration and grading. All GAs are expected to support three doctoral residencies per year. This includes traveling to residency locations, assisting with set-up, logistics, and support. Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with the DBA Full-Time Faculty on assigned tasksAssist with coordinating adjunct faculty and research chair recruiting effortsAssist with the end-of-course and faculty / research chair review processesAssist communication with adjunct faculty and research chairsMaintain and update recordsCoordinate with research chairs to track student progress on their ADPsSupport onsite and virtual residenciesassignments as directed by the Department ChairQualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.EducationA Master’s Degree required. Preferably in a business, or business related fieldAn IWU active graduate DBA student in good standingExperienceAt least three (3) years of professional experience.
