The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in MedTech talent markets, thrives in complex and regulated environments, and excels at building diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines ahead of demand.You will partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders to shape talent strategies that enable innovation, product development, and regulatory success.This is a pipeline-first role focused on proactive sourcing, early-stage candidate screening, and talent market strategy, not full-cycle recruiting.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Talent Mapping & Market IntelligenceConduct in-depth research on MedTech talent markets, including competitors, key talent hubs, and emerging skill trendsProvide insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring risks within regulated environments (e.g., FDA, ISO)Advanced Sourcing StrategyDesign and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract niche, high-demand MedTech talentLeverage LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, research institutions, life sciences communities, and AI-enabled sourcing toolsProactive Talent PipeliningBuild and maintain robust pipelines of passive candidates across critical MedTech functionsAnticipate future hiring needs tied to product development cycles and regulatory milestonesCandidate Engagement & Relationship BuildingDeliver personalized, high-touch outreach that resonates with specialized technical and clinical talentBuild long-term relationships with candidates in highly competitive and niche talent poolsPartnership with TA & Business LeadersCollaborate with TA Partners, hiring managers and business stakeholders to align on role requirements, technical competencies, and market strategyParticipate in intake sessions and ongoing calibration to refine targeting and outreach approachesData-Driven Sourcing ExcellenceTrack and analyze sourcing metrics (pipeline health, conversion rates, diversity mix) to optimize performanceContinuously refine sourcing strategies based on data and market insightsEmployer Brand ActivationAmplify Fortive’s employer value proposition within MedTech and life sciences communitiesSupport talent branding initiatives across sourcing channels and professional networksBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, or related discipline4+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing within MedTech, medical device, life sciences, or healthcare technology sectorsProven track record of building pipelines for niche, hard-to-fill roles (e.g., Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, R&D)Strong understanding of MedTech functional areas and the impact of regulatory environments on talent needsExpertise in sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, market mapping, and AI-enabled platformsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sourcing strategiesExcellent communication and candidate engagement skills across global talent marketsThrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and embraces ambiguityPreferred QualificationsStrategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate talent needs and proactively build pipelines aligned to business and product roadmapsCollaboration & Influence: Strong partnership mindset with the ability to influence across TA, HR, and business stakeholdersBusiness & Regulatory Acumen: Understanding of MedTech product lifecycle, quality systems, and regulatory frameworksRelationship Building: Demonstrated success engaging and nurturing passive candidates within specialized talent marketsOriginally posted on Himalayas
