The selected testers will support the **Information Sharing System (CISS)**, an integrated platform used to facilitate the secure exchange of criminal justice information across participating agencies while maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal CJIS security requirements. This position combines **manual testing, system testing, User Acceptance Testing, API/Web Services testing, database validation, requirements traceability, defect management, and test automation framework development**. The strongest candidates will bring 5–7 years of enterprise testing experience along with hands\-on knowledge of **C\# or Java, SQL Server, SOAP UI/Postman, XML, automation frameworks, GitHub, and DevOps integration**. **What You’ll Do** ------------------ * Create detailed test scenarios, use cases, test cases, and testing documentation based on project and system requirements. * Execute system testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing. * Create comprehensive test\-result reports for project managers and technical stakeholders. * Develop and document repeatable testing processes for use by the broader QA/testing team. * Support investigation, documentation, and resolution of software defects identified during testing. * Enter, maintain, and track defects using approved defect\-management tools. * Perform testing activities for new system releases and enhancements. * Validate delivered functionality against contractual and documented business requirements. * Review and validate Requirements Traceability Matrices to ensure complete testing coverage. * Test Web Services and APIs manually using **SOAP UI, Postman, or similar tools**. * Validate XML\-based integrations, including **NIEM XML or other complex XML standards**. * Develop and maintain automation frameworks and automated test suites. * Participate in the architecture and expansion of test\-automation frameworks. * Integrate automated test suites with DevOps processes. * Develop and maintain data\-driven automation testing solutions. * Perform backend validation using complex SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server. * Troubleshoot complex issues within large integrated systems and assist technic
