Our Account Management team plays a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of our firm. They are passionate about the markets we serve and are dedicated tohigh-performance.ResponsibilitiesBuilding relationships with current clients through demonstration of in-depth institutional knowledge, understanding of specific institutional needs or priorities, and the ability to propose custom research solutionsNavigating Hanover’s partnership offerings on behalf of the organization, ensuring theappropriate serviceis provided to meet the client’s needsDeterminingappropriate tacticsto drive urgency in the renewal and upsell cycleCreating the opportunity to expand existing relationships through cross-sell opportunities of other service offeringsEducating contacts on the benefits of Hanover's products and services through compelling articulation of our business model and value propositionCreating customized account plans for each organization, outlining service delivery and revenue-growth strategies for existing and potential clientsCollaborating with the Content team to ensure targeted and substantive solution deliveryMeet challenging monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goalsPredicting cash retention probability and reporting findings to senior leadershipAverage client pool sizewill range from $3Mto $4MWillingness to travel10-25%to client sitesQualificationsDesired Skills and AttributesBachelor’s degreeinbusiness, social sciences, education, communications, political science, economics, psychology, public policyor similar is highlypreferred10+years of Account Management or Sales experience Experiencewithin the Education field is highly desirableExcellent oral and written communication skillsWillingness to work outside the strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of client serviceand commercial strategiesAbility to develop relationships,establishcredibility, and conduct substantive content discussions with decision makersExcellent problem-solving skills and strong ability to think strategically about client managementAbility to diagnose client needs andidentifyrelevant solutionsBe comfortableasking for businessand resilient in pursuing revenue opportunitiesLocation

Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our base pay range isdeterminedby the role and the market.
