Full Charge Bookkeeper

**Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail\-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. As a key contributor, you will drive the integrity of our financial data and support the organization’s financial health and growth. **Responsibilities** * Manage full\-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare and record journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy. * Reconcile balance sheets and perform month\-end closing procedures in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). * Oversee payroll management using systems such as ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments. * Maintain compliance with SOX (Sarbanes\-Oxley Act) controls and internal audit requirements. * Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian to streamline financial operations. * Assist with budgeting, tax preparation, and governmental reporting requirements as needed. * Conduct detailed data entry with high accuracy using 10\-key typing skills and double\-entry bookkeeping methods. * Support external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions. **Experience** * Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role within a corporate or governmental accounting environment. * Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices. * Hands\-on experience with multiple accounting software platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar systems. * Familiarity with payroll management systems such as ADP or Paychex and timekeeping platforms like Kronos or UltiPro. * Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits \& credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management. * Experience working with SOX compliance procedures and internal controls is highly desirable. * Ability to analyze financial data accurately while maintaining high attention to detail in fast\-paced environments. * Excellent math skills combined with strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
