Join us and be part of this journey towards greater opportunities and brighter futures.Pre-Sales Solutions Architect In this role, you will:Work directly with customers in a pre-sales capacity to gather custom software-based integration and/or automation requirements leveraging Client's REST APIs and various third-party APIsPartner with Client account teams and other pre-sales roles with Client to guide the requirements gathering process with the customerBecome an expert in Client's products and how to build cohesive integrations and automations that interact with Smartsheet productsDesign and document custom software-based integration and automation processesProvide level of effort estimates (and calculated costs based on standard hourly rates)Write services contracts (in partnership with other Smartsheet pre-sales resources) including well-defined scope, effort, and costs based on gathered customer requirements and your recommended designsPresent solution designs and contract proposals to customersWork with our team of post-sales solutions architects to validate designs and estimated effortsRequired experiences and skills:Experience working in a pre-sales technical role, such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect.Experience working with customers directly to gather technical requirementsDeep understanding of REST APIs and solution architecture using REST APIsUnderstanding of API-based integration processes and designsAbility to work with both technical and non-technical audiences to define and document desired integration or automation outcomes within Smartsheet productsComfortable working through ambiguityConfident in designing and recommending best practices for integration and/or automation architecturesAbility to present solution proposals with confidence and talk in-depth about your design choices and pros/cons of alternative approachesBackend software development experience preferred but not requiredThe base salary for this position is $106,087 -$143,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
