Job Description

**Location:** Hybrid or Remote (Ohio preferred) **Hours:** 10–15 hours per week (flexible) **Type:** Temporary, with potential to become permanent **About the Role** We are looking for a reliable and detail\-oriented **Accounting \& Administrative Assistant** to support our growing CPA practice. This position is ideal for a **college student, intern, or recent graduate** seeking hands\-on experience in both accounting and general business operations. The schedule is **flexible (10–15 hours per week)**, making it easy to work around classes or other commitments. This role may transition into a long\-term opportunity based on performance and firm needs. **Responsibilities** * Assist with **accounts payable** (entering invoices, organizing vendor bills) * Help maintain accurate financial records and spreadsheets * Perform basic account reconciliations and data entry * Organize and manage digital files (PDFs, receipts, documents) * Assist with general administrative tasks (email organization, scheduling, document preparation) * Support the team with various accounting and office\-related projects **Qualifications** * Pursuing or recently completed a degree in **Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field** * Strong attention to detail and organization skills * Comfortable using **Excel and basic business software** * Ability to manage tasks independently and follow through * Good communication skills and willingness to learn * Experience with QuickBooks or similar software is a plus, but not required **What We Offer** * Flexible, part\-time schedule * Exposure to real\-world accounting and business operations * Hands\-on experience in a CPA firm environment * Opportunity for growth into a permanent role Pay: $18\.00 \- $25\.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Columbus, OH 43223
