As a **lead software developer** in our Commercial Lines Technology Group (CLTG) Strategic Planning and Architecture team, you'll collaborate with business partners to innovate, advance, and promote our CLTG technologies. In this role, you'll consult with architects and business teams to experiment, learn, and provide technical design support for the organization. You'll also provide thought leadership and lead efforts to capture and share best\-practice knowledge within our CLTG community.
This is a remote position for US\-based work only.
**Must\-have qualifications**
* Minimum of 9 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
* {OR} Completion of a technical training program and a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
* {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
**Preferred skills*** Experience creating technology roadmaps, architectural plans, and presenting solutions to technical and business collaborators.
* Strong full\-stack development experience with C\#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, SQL Server, Kafka, Git/TFS, and RESTful APIs.
* Experience building, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud\-based application deployments in AWS.
* Experience with Generative AI solutions, including RAG\-based chat applications.
* Knowledge of Duck Creek applications and related business processes.
**Compensation*** $132,000 \- $150,000/year
* Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
