Our client, a specialist insurance business, is seeking a Vice President to establish and lead a new Risk Intelligence function. The business operates as a focused underwriting unit within a larger global insurance platform. It provides coverage for freight brokers and third-party logistics providers across the United States and Canada, with a client base made up primarily of medium and large operators. The team is lean, highly specialized, and supported by proprietary technology. It oversees a substantial premium book across several hundred insured clients.This is a founding leadership opportunity. The successful candidate will not step into an existing department. They will be responsible for building one.About the roleThis is a practical, field-facing operational role rather than a back-office policy position.
