As a Strategic Sales Consultant, you’ll tap into your network and outbound expertise to build high-velocity pipelines, close strategic deals, and expand our presence across enterprise and channel markets. Success in this position is directly tied to performance, with high achievers consistently reaching or exceeding OTE targets.Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs. The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Leverage a strong personal network and executive-level relationships to identify, prospect, and close new enterprise and channel business for TrueNAS storage solutionsIndependently build and manage a high-velocity pipeline of net-new opportunities, driven primarily by self-sourced leads and strategic outbound effortsDrive the entire sales cycle from initial contact and qualification through to contract negotiation and deal closureDevelop and execute comprehensive account strategies for high-potential prospects, including VARs, MSPs, and Fortune 1000 organizationsCreate and deliver compelling proposals and pricing packages; accurately forecast and close opportunities to exceed individual and team sales targetsDemonstrate a consistent record of success winning deals against incumbent legacy vendors and large enterprise competitorsMaintain expert-level knowledge of the TrueNAS product portfolio and positioning; clearly articulate the business value, technical benefits, and ROI of our solutions to both technical and executive buyersContinuously track and analyze market trends, competitor moves, and partner activities to inform sales strategy and differentiate in a crowded marketplaceCollaborate with Sales Engineers and Sales Management to secure bookings.Collaborate with Sales Engineers for customer/prospect configurations.Document sales activities within Salesforce.Education and ExperienceProven, extensive, and verifiable network of business contacts and decision-makers in that can be readily converted into sales opportunitiesDemonstrated success in a 100% commission-based or heavily commission-driven sales role, consistently exceeding targetsHighly autonomous, self-driven, and motivated by uncapped earning potentialComfortable being the “underdog” and not just leveraging a name brand to open doorsSelf-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of multitaskingExcellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, planning, and time management skillsA positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude.Ability to be both self-reliant and a team playerBackground in Open Source Technologies a plusAbility to properly forecastWillingness to travel up to 30%Remote work is possible for the right candidateEqual Employment Opportunity:iXsystems DBA TrueNAS, Inc provides equal emplo
