Grant Writer

**We are in** search for a consistent, energetic and very persistent grant writer one who preferably have won grants before. The compensation for the job is 500$ cash paid by the board each grant won over 5000$ and less than 500 for any grants won under 5000$. We would want to keep track of progress weekly this is a 1099 position. Serious inquiries only we are a new nonprofit in need of grant writers to help us get funding we only pay for won grants not anything more. **Overview** We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Grant Writer to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will lead efforts to secure funding by crafting compelling grant proposals and managing grant\-related documentation. Your expertise will help advance our mission by identifying funding opportunities, developing strategic proposals, and maintaining strong relationships with grant agencies and nonprofit partners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through effective fundraising and resource development. **Responsibilities** * Research and identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and nonprofit organizations. * Write persuasive, clear, and comprehensive grant proposals tailored to each funding opportunity, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. * Manage all aspects of grant application processes, including preparing budgets, supporting documents, and required reports. * Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines, and outcomes using databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar systems. * Collaborate with program staff to develop project descriptions, objectives, and measurable outcomes for proposals. * Monitor grant compliance by reviewing contractual obligations and ensuring timely submission of progress reports and financial reports. * Edit and proofread all proposal materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency to enhance the organization’s chances of success. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in grant proposal writing within nonprofit or community organization settings. * Strong understanding of contracts, contract management, and compliance requirements related to grants. * Proficiency with databases such as Raiser's Edge or comparable fundraising management systems; experience with database management is essential. * Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational programs. * Exceptional technical writing skills with an emphasis on persuasive content editing and proofreading. * Demonstrated ability in fundraising strategies within government agencies or nonprofit foundations. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high\-quality work output. * Experience in program development, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial report writing is highly desirable.
