We help businesses create more engaging ways to collect, manage, and understand data.This team sits at the intersection of our go-to-market and product organizations, working directly with enterprise customers to validate use cases, accelerate strategic opportunities, and shape how our products evolve through real-world customer engagement.About the roleWe're looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between our enterprise customers and our product, building prototypes for strategic opportunities that accelerate sales cycles and inform product development.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on direct customer engagement and enjoys turning ambiguous enterprise requirements into working software—fast. You'll build prototypes, support high-value enterprise deals, and translate customer needs into insights that directly shape our product roadmap.You'll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to validate customer use cases, deliver solutions in the field, and feed learnings back into how we build.Things you will doBuild and deliver prototypes for strategic enterprise opportunities, accelerating sales cycles and de-risking dealsEngage directly with enterprise customers to understand their requirements, workflows, and technical environmentsSupport enterprise deals as the technical bridge between customer needs and product capabilitiesTranslate customer requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable product insightsCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to feed field learnings into the product roadmapValidate customer use cases for new product initiatives through hands-on prototyping and iterationIdentify reusable patterns across customer engagements and drive their productizationBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and customer organizationsWork on ongoing field engineering initiatives, including:Prototype delivery for strategic enterprise opportunitiesNew product launch support and customer validationProductization of successful prototype conceptsEstablishing scalable Forward Deployed Engineering practicesParticipate in architecture and solution discussions, contributing practical, customer-informed engineering perspectivesWhat you already bring to the tableStrong fullstack engineering experience, with the ability to build and ship working solutions quicklySolid experience designing and working with APIs and integrating across systemsExperience with cloud platforms and modern application architectureExperience working directly with enterprise customers and navigating their technical requirementsStrong sense of ownership and the ability to drive projects independently from ambiguity to deliveryExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business stakeholdersCustomer-focused mindset, with genuine curiosity about customer problems and workflowsComfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where priorities evolveStrong collaboration skills across Sales, Product, and Engineering functionsExtra awesomePrevious experience in a Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roleExperience working in a product led SaaS companyExposure to AI/LLM technologies and building AI-powered solutionsExperience working in startup or high-growth environmentsDegree in Computer Science or a related technical field*Typeform drives hundreds of millions of interactions each year, enabling conversational, human-centered experiences across the globe.
