This is a true individual contributor role where you'll be the person running the searches, building the processes, and setting the standard for how Akuity hires.You'll partner directly with founders and hiring managers across Go-to-Market and Engineering to find and close exceptional talent in one of the most competitive hiring markets in tech. If you're energized by ownership, ambiguity, and the chance to make a real impact at a fast-growing company, we'd love to meet you.What You’ll DoOwn Full-Cycle Recruiting Across All FunctionsLead end-to-end searches across Go-to-Market (Sales, Sales Engineering, CSM, Technical Marketing) and Engineering (DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure)Run structured intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing strategy, and success criteria before any search beginsLead team kickoff meetings to align all interviewers on role context, ideal profile, interview structure, and individual focus areasScreen candidates against hiring manager criteria, evaluating on attributes and trajectory, not just job titlesDeliver clear, actionable candidate summaries that help hiring managers make fast, confident decisionsDrive Sourcing & Pipeline Strategy Build and execute outbound sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, Boolean search, referral networks, and community channelsDevelop and maintain a strong referral pipeline by activating the Akuity team and open-source community networksContinuously calibrate sourcing strategy based on signal from screens and interviews; adjust quickly and over communicate with hiring team Build Process & Keep the Team AccountableStandardize the recruiting process across all searches: intake, team kickoff, calibration, and debriefEnsure every interviewer knows their assigned competencies and has suggested questions before meeting a candidateEstablish interviewer best practices and scorecard standards across the companyHold regular calibration check-ins with hiring managers to refine the searchOwn Candidate Experience & Recruiting OpsEnsure every candidate, regardless of outcome has a timely, respectful, and clear experience from first contact through closeOwn the operational layer: Greenhouse setup, interview stage configuration, communication templates, scheduling, and automationsManage offer processes including compensation conversations in partnership with leadershipElevate Akuity's employer brand within the DevOps, open-source, and cloud-native communitiesWhat We Look ForMust Have5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience,including 2-3 years in-house at a technical startup (B2B SaaS, Series A-C preferred) Proven full-cycle recruiting across GTM (Sales, Sales Engineering, CSM, Technical Marketing) and Engineering (DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure) Demonstrated ability to operate as a team of one, scrappy, autonomous and high-agency Strong outbound sourcing track record; evaluates candidates on attributes and potential, not just title historyExperience with Greenhouse ATS, including process setup, stage configuration, automations and communication templates. Strong understanding of how to recruit across DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Platform Engineering roles; familiarity with with the CNCF open-source landscape Strong stakeholder management skills: can run intakes, lead team kickoffs, push back constructively, and overcommunicate with hiring team. Nice to HaveExperience recruiting for open-source-rooted or developer-tools companiesFamiliarity with the Argo/Kargo ecosystem or CNCF
