What success looks like in this role: The Director, Delivery Management for our CA&I portfolio has primary responsibility for practice management and strategic business development across multiple service lines, with direct leadership accountability for enterprise infrastructure delivery including network and data center services. This role owns financial and operational performance, client relationships, and people leadership while driving revenue, margin, service quality, and client satisfaction across a complex, enterprise managed services environment.P&L / Practice ManagementMaintains full responsibility and management for multiple service lines across the Cloud Applications & Infrastructure portfolio.Provides end-to-end delivery leadership for infrastructure service lines, including network and data center operations.Understands the meaning and implications of key financial indicators.Manages all financials and operational metrics for the practice.Translates the client’s long-range business plan into a services strategy.Ensures engagements consistently achieve or exceed revenue, margin, service level objectives, and quality targets.Provides oversight of all engagements, including periodic meetings with client management and engagement teams.Ensures appropriate intervention and personal involvement in potential problem engagements.Client Relationship ManagementInterfaces with client senior executives to generate additional businessEvaluates client business strategy, objectives, and requirementsParticipates directly in pursuit of new business opportunities when appropriateAssures full Unisys portfolio is leveraged across clientsAchieves and monitors client satisfaction targetsMitigates client risks and promotes a positive Unisys imagePeople ManagementManages Leaders of Leaders; accountable for training, development, performance, and career pathingNominates and mentors new practice leadersParticipates in Unisys college/university recruitingPartners with recruiting to maintain external talent pipelinesProvides mentoring, feedback, training, and development opportunitiesBusiness and Industry SkillsRecognized as a domain expert by peers and clientsBuilds client relationships and develops new businessMaintains awareness of IT infrastructure, industry trends, competitors, and vendor strategiesDemonstrates executive presence and professionalismForecasts, plans, and reviews financial and people resourcesDefines intermediate goals and contingenciesDeal Review ConsultingConsults on bids, proposals, contracts, staffing, and resource allocationParticipates in deal review sessions to ensure alignment on commercial, solution, pricing, and resourcing termsWork Style and Interpersonal SkillsMaintains integrity while balancing client expectations, people development, and financial objectivesDemonstrates collaborative working styleCommunicates openly and clearlyListens activelyYou will be successful in this role if you have:Demonstrated experience overseeing enterprise infrastructure service lines, including network and data center environments, within a managed services model.U.S. citizenship required for security clearance10+ years professional services experience in global IT managed servicesBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experienceStrong interpersonal skillsIndustry certifications preferredExperience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) preferredParticipation in professional associationsAdvanced analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skillsAbility to deal with ambiguityAdvanced prioritization and delegation skillsExperience managing third-party suppliersThis role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
