Context offers competitive salaries and solid benefits, including unlimited vacation, health and 401k, and maternity leave.Role: Our sales team is looking for a highly organized professional with experience in travel industry sales and marketing. This role will support business development with travel agencies and other partners. Understanding of the US travel trade landscape will be key to success in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to report directly into our Director of Business Development and help grow our travel advisor channel at greater than 30% year over year. This is a remote role that works closely with trade marketing, delivery, and product teams. Location: Remote roleSchedule: U.S. Eastern Hours, Mon-Fri, 9-5, with some nights and weekends for travel/events Salary: $50k-65k, depending on experienceResponsibilities of this role will include:Builds and maintains relationships for the travel agency channelFinds, coordinates, and leads agency trainings and Context webinarsExecutes end-to-end conference strategyLeads 1:1 meetings and webinarsProspects for new agencies and advisorsCreates marketing materials including flyers and presentationsCreates content for webinars, meetings, and emailsManages department inboxBuilds, updates, and analyzes workflows and automations in CRMCollects and raises roadblocks as neededAssists in agency and advisor registrationManages advisor toolkitTracks KPIsParticipates meaningfully in team meetingsJoins project working groups or task forcesWorks cross-functionallyConsults in quarterly and annual planning15% travel required, heavier during conference seasonRequirements:Understanding of the travel agency market in the U.S., including host agencies and consortiaRelationships with FIT travel advisors a plusHighly organized and comfortable working with tight deadlinesMust have current driver’s license Eligibility to work in the US during Eastern office hoursPreferred systems experience:Google (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Meet, Gmail)HubSpotFrontSlackZoomGuruBasecampWhat you'll bring:Demonstrated autonomous ownership: can triage, decide, and close loops without heavy supervision.Sincere enthusiasm for connecting with clients both via email and over the phoneAn eagerness to close the sale and celebrate the winResilience and composure—you handle unhappy clients with empathy and a thick skinCultural sensitivity—you have experience and/or interest in working with colleagues and people from around the globeVersatility in managing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities in a fast paced environmentClose attention to detail and strong working memoryComfortable self-serving on information and not afraid to ask questions for clarificationA curious, learning-driven mindset—you’d happily be one of our clients yourself2-4 years work experience in a related role.
