Senior Product Designer

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can own a product domain and deliver high-quality experiences with strong decision execution, solid judgment, and open collaboration. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy to drive design decisions that balance user needs and business goals. We expect you to deliver intuitive, scalable, and trustworthy workflows.This role is ideal for someone who proactively shapes direction, guides others through their work, and will contribute to the evolution of how we design at SmartRecruiters.In your first 3 months, you will:Own design work in a product group while partnering closer with Product and EngineeringLead design research including choosing methods and sharing insights with stakeholdersDesign end-to-end user experiences while considering scale, edge cases, and long-term impactPresent your work clearly in design critiques and reviews with data and research includedActively collaborate with other designers by giving and receiving thoughtful feedbackIn your first 6 months, you will:Lead design on complex initiatives from discovery through delivery with minimal supervisionCreate and maintain user journeys for your areas and connect them across the full experienceDefine and evolve interaction patterns within your domain to ensure platform coherenceBring a strong UX perspective to product strategy discussion with team leads Ensure high-quality execution by partnering with engineers and fellow designersShare knowledge, mentor peers, and contribute to design initiatives across the organization5+ years of experience designing complex digital productsA strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, systems thinking, and product impactProven experience driving user research and translating insights into product decisionsAbility to define interaction patterns and contribute to scalable design solutionsStrong product sense with experience collaborating on roadmap planningExcellent communication skills, especially with presenting design decision to stakeholdersExperience designing in enterprise SaaS or similarly complex product environmentsNice to have:Experience contributing to or evolving a design systemStrong accessibility and inclusive design experienceExperience mentoring designers or leading design organization initiativesFamiliarity with HR technologySmartRecruiters is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
