Great team to work with.The RoleAs a Senior Accountant / Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services while mentoring / supporting junior team members.This position is ideal for a technically strong Australian public practice professional who enjoys team leadership responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returnsPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standardsEnsure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirementsStay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service deliveryManage the workflow for the teamAbout YouHigh level of professionalism and integrityMinimum of 6 years' experience in Australian public practiceStrong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and financial reporting standardsProficient in Xero, including Xero TaxExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage deadlinesDemonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilityOriginally posted on Himalayas
