More than just Wi-Fi, Aerwave builds trust and future-proofs your community for tomorrow’s digital lifestyle.The Project Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of low voltage and network hardware installation projects for our managed WiFi solutions. The ideal candidate has a solid background in project management, expertise in low voltage systems, and experience with network hardware deployment. This role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to team coordination and client communication, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Project Initiation:oReview and fully understand contract and pre-sale deliverables: Sales Budget, Scope of Work, Design, Circuit Provider plan, and revenue/conversion model - to ensure proper delivery of system and servicesoPlan, manage, and execute projects related to low voltage cabling and network hardware installations.oDevelop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.oMonitor and report on project progress and ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards.Team Leadership & Coordination:oSupervise and coordinate teams within Aerwave, including CSM, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Leadership, as well as subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goalsoAssign tasks, set expectations, and monitor/report performance.oFoster collaboration and ensure clear communication between all stakeholders.oMentors & provides guidance to new hires and the rest of the PM team.Technical Management:oOversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage systems (structured cabling, fiber optics, etc.) and network hardware (routers, switches, access points).oTroubleshoot and resolve issues during the project lifecycle utilizing company resources and management as necessaryClient Engagement:oServe as the primary point of contact for ownership clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.oProvide regular project updates, including progress reports, milestones, and risk assessments.oAddress client concerns promptly and professionally.Budget and Resource Management:oTrack project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place.oManage procurement of equipment, materials, and resources required for installations.oReview and approve project-related expenses, invoices, and change orders.oMonitor Accounts Receivables and assist with collections as necessary.Compliance and Quality Assurance:oEnsure site inspections occur by Construction Manager to verify work quality and adherence to Aerwave standardsoEnsure proper documentation of installations, configurations, and as-built drawings.Risk Management:oIdentify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.oResolve conflicts or delays that arise during project execution.oEscalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.Project Plan and Schedule Management:oCreate and Update Project Plan and Schedule accounting for all relevant in-scope items, tasks, responsibilities and due datesoEnsure project phase completions occur with all deliverables submitted prior to closing the phaseoEnsure completion of all tasks and activities are QC'ed by the appropriate subject matter expert (SME)oEnsure proper punch-list completion along with all closeout materials submittedoSchedule and execute Closeout Meetings and guide all stakeholder through Lessons Learned processREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Telecommunications or a related field or combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience managing projects involving low voltage systems and network hardware installations.
Strong understanding of structured cabling, fiber optics, and network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, access points).
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI).
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and technical documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
Experience in tenant finish out project management, expediting, and logistics management.
Experience in inspection and compliance with regulations.
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
Understand critical milestones that drive operational excellence.
