Technical Lead - Remote, MX (Contract)

This role requires a broad understanding of the entire tech stack, the ability to coordinate across frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps disciplines, and strong communication skills to interface with client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate a distributed team of frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps engineersProvide architectural guidance across all layers of the platformDrive technical decision-making and ensure alignment with the client’s engineering guidelines and product roadmapConduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practicesServe as the primary technical point of contact between the delivery team and client stakeholdersIdentify technical risks and proactively propose mitigation strategiesFacilitate sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives in collaboration with project managementTech Stack:React Native (with limited native modules) for mobile applicationsNext.js (SSR) with React for web frontendSanity (headless CMS) for content managementTypeScript / Fastify for backend servicesElasticsearch for personalization and cachingRedis / Valkey for key-value cachingGCP infrastructure: Kubernetes and Cloud RunRequired Skills:8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience3+ years in a technical lead or architect role managing cross-functional teamsStrong proficiency across full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems (React, Next.js, Node.js, Fastify)Working knowledge of React Native and mobile development workflowsExperience with cloud-native architectures (GCP preferred) (Kubernetes, Cloud Run)Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis/Valkey, and headless CMS platforms (Sanity preferred)Excellent communication skills and ability to work across US time zonesNice to Have:Prior experience in sports, media, or entertainment platformsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-codeFamiliarity with performance optimization and caching strategies at scaleEmployment Type:Contract#LI-RemoteTech Holding is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
