This position writes and produces effective and targeted marketing content for a variety of audiences while maintaining our ministry’s “voice” brand and core values. As a member of the Marketing and Communications team, this position directs the strategic content for our digital communications; website, emails, blogs, etc., while ensuring optimal SEO strategies and, on a case\-by\-case basis, content for print. \*\*\* Please include a cover letter detailing your Christian background \*\*\* Educational or Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Multimedia Journalism, Marketing, and/or relevant and proven related work experience. Experience Requirements: * 5\+ years of professional writing experience, especially with digital platforms * Experience writing promotional marketing and/or fundraising copy * Familiarity with SEO strategy and implementation * Strong understanding of email and social data analytics Knowledge, Skills, \& Character Required: * Knowledge/familiarity with the teachings and values of the Catholic Church * Ability to incorporate strong and motivational Catholic, biblical, and spiritual themes and ideas into writing across various platforms (print, digital, social media, etc.) * Proven understanding of how to create content that draws and motivates an audience to a specific call\-to\-action. * Proficiency with incorporating and implementing SEO strategy * Ability to consistently produce quality content that meets ministry standards; strong capability to receive and effectively apply stakeholder edits; able to interpret and apply constructive feedback to enhance materials * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong proficiency in grammar * Skill in gathering and synthesizing information from various sources. * Ability to translate complex/technical/specialty language/ideas and distill it into clear, simple copy that audiences will understand and connect with.
