The team partners closely with project management, development, legal, finance, and external counterparties to ensure contracts are executed efficiently, accurately documented, and aligned with business objectives.Position OverviewThis role can be based in any of our US locations or RemoteVantage is seeking a commercial natural gas professional to support the development and execution of fuel supply and infrastructure solutions for large-scale data center and power generation projects across North America. This role will focus on natural gas supply strategy, transportation and storage arrangements, midstream infrastructure coordination, and commercial structuring to support hyperscale load growth and behind-the-meter generation development.The ideal candidate will have experience in physical natural gas markets, including gas trading, marketing, transportation, storage, scheduling, or supply origination, and possess a strong commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate market dynamics, negotiate complex agreements, and develop creative fuel supply solutions around infrastructure and reliability constraints.Candidates may come from midstream companies, gas marketers, producers, utilities, pipeline operators, trading organizations, IPPs, or large industrial energy users, and should have familiarity with interstate pipeline systems, transportation agreements, capacity releases, storage products, balancing arrangements, basis exposure, and physical gas delivery strategies across major North American basins and hubs. Strong relationships within the natural gas and midstream industry are highly desired.In addition to commercial gas market experience, the role requires exposure to power generation development and infrastructure strategy, including an understanding of development risks, timelines, and commercial considerations associated with new generation resources and supporting fuel infrastructure. This includes familiarity with gas lateral development, interconnect agreements, long-lead infrastructure planning, utility coordination, fuel redundancy strategies, and the commercial implications of supporting large incremental load growth.This role will work cross-functionally with development, infrastructure, legal, utility, and executive teams to support scalable and reliable fuel supply solutions for mission-critical infrastructure projects.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and execute natural gas supply strategies across North American marketsStructure and support negotiation of gas supply, transportation, storage, and balancing agreementsCoordinate with pipelines, midstream providers, marketers, and producers to secure reliable fuel supplyEvaluate basin dynamics, basis exposure, infrastructure constraints, and market opportunitiesSupport development of transportation strategies including firm, interruptible, and capacity release arrangementsAnalyze and support storage and balancing strategies to ensure operational reliabilityCoordinate gas infrastructure development including laterals, interconnects, and upstream capacityCollaborate with power development teams to align fuel supply with generation and load timelinesBuild and maintain relationships across midstream, pipeline, and gas market participantsSupport negotiation and execution of complex commercial gas agreementsPartner cross-functionally with development, legal, infrastructure, and executive teamsAdditional duties as assigned by managementJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Energy, Engineering, or related field4–8 years of experience in natural gas markets, trading, marketing, midstream, or related rolesExperience with transportation, storage, balancing, and physical gas delivery strategiesFamiliarity with interstate pipelines, capacity release, and gas infrastructure developmentExposure to power generation or infrastructure development is preferredStrong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skillsAbility to evaluate market dynamics and develop strategic solutionsStrong network within gas, midstream, or pipeline industry preferredTravel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves.Physical Demands and
