You have a natural curiosity for all parts of the creative pipeline, and invest time improving your skills.ResponsibilitiesDelivering excellenceWorks efficiently and effectively within the technical constraints of productionGenerates high-quality art work that matches or exceeds studio standardsCommunicationKeep the Lead Artist up to date regarding status of tasks at all timesObtain the Lead Artists guidance and approval as needed on tasks, project initiatives and milestonesProactively schedule own time as necessary, notify Managers and Lead Artists in advance of upcoming roadblocks and challengesTeam and personal developmentConsistently refine one’s own artistic abilities and learn new software packages and in-house toolsContribute and help build a positive team environmentRequirementsFull proficiency in software packages and tools of the games industry listed below3ds Max/MayaSubstance PainterZbrushPhotoshopPBR workflowSurface knowledge on the following softwares and toolsBlenderIntermediate proficiency in the following tools:Unreal Engine Character SetupUnreal Engine Rendering (Lighting, Rendering)Highly proficient in one of the following disciplines and/or intermediate in all of themHuman AnatomyCreature AnatomyHard Surface ModelingCloth Sculpting or SimulationPassion for game development.Proficiency in Game Engine technologies such as Unreal with asset integrationExperience with the game art asset pipeline, i.e. highpoly and efficient game ready lowpoly modelling, texturing and baking.Pluses:Familiarity with other game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.)Capable of working in other art disciplines (Concept Art, Rig, Animation, VFX, etc).Originally posted on Himalayas
