Together, we’re transforming how better health happens.Summary of PositionThe Specialist I, Instructional Designer supports the design and development of engaging learning solutions across e-learning, documentation, and instructor-led training. This role supports the development of quality learner experiences by applying instructional design, adult learning, and visual design principles with guidance from team members and stakeholders.Key responsibilities include content development, technical communications, graphic design, training video creation, and LMS-related support activities as needed. The Specialist I, Instructional Designer works closely with cross-functional teams to support learning initiatives and contribute to a team-oriented learning environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with team members to design and deliver engaging, effective learning solutions that support learner successContributes to a collaborative team environment focused on high-quality learning experiencesWorks with SMEs and internal partners to gather information and support training developmentSupports the development of training solutions across instructor-led, virtual, self-paced e-learning, and blended learning formatsDevelops interactive training content across a variety of formatsApplies instructional design principles to support content development, storyboarding, and curriculum updatesDevelops learning content using various tools which may include Articulate 360, Adobe, Camtasia, Vyond or similar platformsCreate step-by-step tutorials and learner support with the end user in mindSupports LMS-related activities such as course testing, uploads, learner support, and maintenance as needed.Demonstrates attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality contentFacilitates training when needed and pilots new curriculum when applicableKeeps current with learning technologies and instructional design practices and shares ideas with the teamSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoQualifications Expected for PositionBachelor's degree required2+ years of relevant instructional design, learning development, or related experienceExperience in developing e-learning content using various tools which may include Articulate 360, Adobe, Camtasia, Vyond or similar toolsExperience working within a Learning Management System (LMS)Familiarity with instructional design and content development processes, including storyboarding, content development, delivery, and learner supportWorking knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principlesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities with guidance as neededStrong collaboration and written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well within a team as well as independentlyAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsProficiency in Microsoft Suite of ProductsPreferred QualificationsExperience in Healthcare, or heavily regulated environmentThe base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
