Job Description
**Job Overview**
WasteVision is looking for a technically sharp Account Manager to own the onboarding and long\-term success of our channel partners and private hauler clients. This is not a traditional AM role \- you will be embedded in our platform, tools, and workflows daily, serving as the primary point of contact from contract close through renewal. You will own retention outcomes directly while collaborating with Sales on upsell opportunities. If you are energized by complex technical environments, love building deep client relationships, and are comfortable moving between spreadsheets, Jira boards, and client calls in the same hour, this role is for you.
**Responsibilities**
* Lead end\-to\-end onboarding for new channel partners and private hauler accounts, ensuring fast time\-to\-value.
* Own the full post\-sale customer lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, health monitoring, renewals, and retention.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams including Product, Engineering, and Support.
* Proactively monitor account health signals and intervene early to prevent churn.
* Collaborate with the Sales team on upsell opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on core adoption.
* Use Jira to manage, track, escalate, and close client issues and feature requests.
* Leverage Claude and other AI tools to streamline communications, surface insights, and improve account management efficiency.
* Maintain accurate account records, health scores, and activity logs in our CRM (Salesforce).
* Gather and synthesize client feedback to inform product roadmap discussions.
**Requirements**
* 5\-8 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a related client\-facing role.
* Strong technical aptitude \- comfortable navigating complex software platforms, reading API documentation, and troubleshooting integration issues alongside clients.
* Proficiency with Jira for issue tracking and project management.
* Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
* Demonstrated comfort using AI tools (including Claude) to increase productivity.
* Experience managing channel partner or reseller relationships strongly preferred.
* Excellent communication skills \- able to translate technical nuance for non\-technical audiences and vice versa.
* Highly organized and self\-directed; thrives in a fully remote, async\-first environment.
* Background in SaaS, logistics technology, IoT, or waste management preferred.
