Senior Landscape Artist

Sperasoft is looking for experienced Senior Landscape artist to join AAA+ project. If you have a passion for biomes, terrain sculpting, material creation, and want to be part of a collaborative team pushing quality to the next level - we would like to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesCreate landscapes using UE5’s sculpting, painting, foliage, spline tools and external DCC such as Gaea or World MachineDesign and implement biomes, including rocks, decals, roads, embankments, and other natural elementsBuild and manage landscape materials within Unreal shader systemDevelop high-quality materials in Quixel Mixer or Substance DesignerUse procedural tools like PCG or Houdini to place grass, trees, rocks, and other natural assets in a fast and efficient wayEnsure performance-friendly, visually compelling landscapes aligned with art directionCollaborate with design, lighting, and technical teams to maintain quality and consistencyObtain Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasksContinue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and/or in-house toolsCoordinate with Senior and/or Lead Artists with mentoring Junior 3D Artists as well as sharing best project practices with themContribute to the team-oriented environmentRequirementsKnowledge of UE 5 and PerforceKnowledge of 3D software (Blender/Maya/3Ds Max)Terrain Generation software knowledge (Gaea/World MachineUnreal Engine Landscape system & Material Graph knowledgeUnderstanding biome assets creation (i.e. embankment, road modules, rocks, landscape patches, decals, small set dressing assets etc)Material creation in Quixel Mixer and Substance Designer will be a big plus, as well as knowledge of Houdini plugin for Unreal EngineBenefitsMedical Care packageMyCafeteria system - including Multisport card and moreEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), offering confidential legal, financial, and personal counselingEnglish or Polish language classesSensibly flexible working hours Breakfasts, snacks and fruits available during the day, tea and coffee machines Additional benefits: care bonus to cover health, educational and safety needs, corporate parties and team buildingsOriginally posted on Himalayas
