Remote Veterinary Bookkeeper

**\*VETERINARY AND BOOKKEEPING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\*** **\*REMOTE WORK OPPORTUNITY!\*** Vet Positive, a small, privately owned veterinary consulting company based out of Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced and meticulous **Veterinary Bookkeeper** to assist with the expanding needs of our growing company. As a bookkeeper with the VP team, you will be responsible for several practice financials. Your day to day will include: * Recording all financial transactions, including cash payments, into correct general ledger * Verifying all accounts and entries are accurate * Reconciling banks and other various accounts * Responsible for maintaining all financial records * Completing basic tax forms * Processing company payroll * Generating regular reports for upper management. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience as a professional bookkeeper managing large bank accounts. **Experience in the veterinary field and as a bookkeeper is REQUIRED**. Additionally, candidates should possess: * 3\+ years of veterinary experience – Required * 1\+ years of bookkeeping experience – Required * 1\+ years of QuickBooks Online experience * Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office * Knowledge of payroll principles * Excellent communication skills * Compassionate and empathetic team player The veterinary bookkeeper role is 100% remote with full support from the team!
