All employment decisions are based upon qualifications, merit, and business need.** **Job Summary** The Veterinary Radiologist Resource Manager is responsible for managing VCR’s global team of board\-certified veterinary radiologists, ensuring seamless 24/7/365 diagnostic coverage across all time zones. This role owns the full scheduling lifecycle \- building and maintaining radiologist shift schedules, managing coverage gaps and time\-off requests, and coordinating across a geographically distributed team to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. The Radiologist Resource Manager also tracks hours worked and scan volume for each radiologist to support accurate and timely compensation processing. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a fast\-paced, always\-on environment where continuity of coverage directly impacts patient care. **Essential Job Functions** **Scheduling \& Coverage Management** * Build, maintain, and publish radiologist shift schedules that ensure continuous 24/7/365 diagnostic coverage across all time zones and practice segments. * Monitor daily coverage in real time; proactively identify and resolve gaps caused by unplanned absences, time\-off requests, or schedule conflicts. * Manage time\-off requests, holiday scheduling, and coverage swaps in a fair and operationally sound manner, ensuring no shift goes unstaffed. * Coordinate scheduling across multiple time zones, taking into account the geographic distribution of VCR’s global radiologist network to optimize shift alignment and handoff continuity. * Serve as the primary point of contact for radiologists regarding scheduling questions, shift changes, and coverage needs; respond promptly to urgent coverage requests. * Maintain an up\-to\-date roster of active radiologists including credentials, licensure status, modality capabilities, and availa
