This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s a creation role.
As Product Owner, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of a new product area: defining what it is, shaping how it’s built, and guiding it from first concept to a scalable, user-facing experience.
You’ll bridge internal capabilities and real user value. You’ll turn structured data into compelling product experiences. And you’ll lay the foundation for a product line designed to scale across JobLeads’ existing user base and acquisition channels.
From day one, you’ll have engineering support, leadership alignment, and cross-functional stakeholders ready to collaborate. What you’ll bring is clarity, momentum, and product conviction. What You’ll Be Doing:Own the product end-to-end, from concept to launch and beyondDefine the product vision and translate it into a structured, actionable roadmap Create and manage a quality backlog: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and iterative releases Partner closely with Engineering to turn platform capabilities into a fully user-facing experience Deeply understand workflows and architecture to ensure scalable, high-quality data foundations Establish and oversee data inflow pipelines (internal and third-party enrichment sources) Own data coverage, freshness, and quality - treating data as a product surface, not just backend plumbing Design and launch user-facing functionality with clear use cases for job seekers, plus a measurable discovery/SEO strategy Collaborate with Marketing (SEO & SEA) and other product teams to maximize visibility, engagement, and retention Set success metrics, run experiments, and drive fast iteration based on user behaviour and outcomesExplore B2B opportunities over time and define the product capabilities needed to unlock that next stageWhat You’ll Need:5+ years of Product Ownership / Product Management experience, ideally within a data-driven or platform-based productProven experience taking products from early-stage capability to something users actively engage withStrong analytical instincts, you make decisions grounded in data, not just intuitionClear, structured communication skills—you can write specs engineers execute on and strategies leadership rallies behindComfort navigating ambiguity and building clarity where none existsFluency in English Nice If You Have:Experience operating in B2C and B2B environments, or marketplace platformsBackground in HR tech, recruiting, or the broader jobs ecosystemComfort working with data-heavy products where quality, coverage, and enrichment are central product decisionsA sharp eye for UX, you’ve partnered closely with designers and understand the difference between functional and compellingFamiliarity with SEO fundamentals in large-scale, content-rich web environmentsExposure to AI-driven products or data enrichment systemsWhat You Can Expect On Board:True ownership of a greenfield product, with leadership backing and engineering resources from day oneDirect mentorship and close collaborationCross-functional exposure across Product, Marketing, Data, and EngineeringThe opportunity to shape a product that increases transparency in the job marketA team that values clarity, autonomy, and thoughtful decision-makingThe chance to build something from zero to one, and then scale it Remote flexibility and a modern tech stack designed for autonomy and scaleAnnual company summer getaway + team meetups across the EUIf you’re energized by turning raw data into meaningful user experiences, if you thrive in greenfield environments where ownership is real and impact is visible, and if you want to build something that makes the job market more transparent and empowering, this is your opportunity to define it from the ground up.Let’s build it together.Originally posted on Himalayas
