In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of a system that offers features like mobile payments, reporting, inventory, and customer management. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, respond to issues promptly, and deliver an exceptional experience for merchants and their customers.🟩 What's in it for you:Work on a mobile POS platform used daily by businesses to securely accept and manage paymentsTackle real-world SRE challenges as first-line operational support, monitoring systems and responding to incidentsBe part of a collaborative team that values knowledge sharing and continuous learning✅ Is that you?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field3+ years supporting production systems, focused on incident response and resolutionStrong experience in operational support or SRE roles in cloud environmentsProficiency in Node.js, including debugging, error handling, and performance troubleshootingExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-native applicationsExperience working with APIs and integrationsFamiliarity with logging and monitoring tools (Winston, Bunyan, Datadog, ELK Stack, CloudWatch)Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure, time-sensitive situationsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)Strong communication skills, with clear and structured incident reporting and documentationEffective cross-functional collaboration across development, DevOps, and product teamsUpper-Intermediate+ English levelDesirable:Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architectureFamiliarity with incident management frameworks (ITIL, SRE practices)Understanding of cloud security best practicesExperience with mobile POS platforms or mobile application environmentsFamiliarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions🧩Key responsibilities and your contributionIn this role, you’ll provide first-line operational support, troubleshoot issues, and work with engineers to keep our cloud-based systems stable and reliable.Provide first-line operational support, monitor systems, and resolve production incidents Troubleshoot cloud systems and integrations, applying corrective actionsManage escalations and collaborate on bug fixes and hotfixesAdminister MDM solutions and support remote software deploymentsImplement automated monitoring and alerting to improve incident responseDocument processes, maintain knowledge bases, and create incident runbooksParticipate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 critical incident coverage Contribute to post-incident reviews to improve monitoring, response, and resolutionBuild Node/TypeScript utilities to automate workflows, parse logs/JSON, and validate API payloadsTroubleshoot REST/GraphQL integrations and analyze request/response tracesManage third-party API integrations and work with teams to improve error handlingAnalyze system and application logging and telemetry to resolve issuesManage and administrate system access🎾 What's working at Dev.Pro like?
