As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you’ll design, build, and operate backend services that are reliable, scalable, and performant.Your responsibilities will include:Design and implement distributed backend systemsOwn services end-to-end: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production supportWork closely with infrastructure, SRE, and GTM teams to deliver robust solutionsImprove system performance, reliability, and observabilityParticipate in technical design discussions and mentor other engineersMake pragmatic trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainabilityContribute to architectural decisions that directly impact system scalability, cost efficiency, and long-term platform evolutionWhat we expect you to have:5+ years of experience building backend systems in productionStrong proficiency in Python (Go is a strong plus)Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput servicesSolid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system designHands-on experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)Experience working in Linux environmentsAbility to debug complex production issuesA track record of owning systems in production and making sound technical decisions under real-world constraintsIt will be an added bonus if you have:Experience with cloud platforms or infrastructure-level systemsKnowledge of Kubernetes, containers, or service meshesBackground in performance optimization or low-latency systemsFamiliarity with observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing)Key employee benefits:Health insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families. 401(k) plan: up to 4% company match with immediate vesting.
