Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to support global SAP transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of scalable, high-quality SAP solutions in modern S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on ABAP development experience with SAP HANA 7.4+ coding standards and a solid understanding of SAP Clean Core principles. You will work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver robust and future-ready SAP solutions aligned with best practices.What you will be doing:Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA environmentsDevelop scalable and efficient custom developments following ABAP 7.4+ coding standardsApply SAP Clean Core principles to minimize custom code impact and support upgrade-ready architecturesDevelop and optimize custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, OData services, CDS Views, and APIsPerform code optimization and performance tuning on SAP HANA databasesCollaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsSupport integration developments across SAP and non-SAP systemsParticipate in technical design workshops and architecture discussionsEnsure compliance with development standards, transport management, and security guidelinesConduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior consultantsSupport testing, defect resolution, deployments, and hypercare activitiesWork within agile project delivery environments and global teams5+ years of SAP ABAP development experienceStrong expertise in ABAP 7.4+ syntax and development standardsHands-on experience with SAP HANA optimized development, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData servicesSolid understanding of SAP Clean Core concept and extensibility approachesHands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA environmentsExperience with performance optimization and SQL tuning on HANAKnowledge of SAP integration technologies and APIsFamiliarity with object-oriented ABAP programmingExperience working with Git/version control and transport management processesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to work independently in international project environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsFluent EnglishWHY YOU SHOULD JOIN FUSION:At Fusion, you’ll join a diverse team of talented professionals from around the world, united by a passion for delivering impactful digital transformation in the life sciences industry.
