**ROLE:**
You are responsible for the day\-to\-day accounting of a property management company. Your tasks include inputting transactions, initiating payments, and reconciling bank accounts and portfolios. You will also communicate weekly with the CEO.
Your role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our company and our clients. You will build monthly reports for both our clients and the company to help achieve our goals.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
\- Recording Financial Transactions: Accurately record all financial transactions, including rent payments, maintenance expenses, utility bills, and other property\-related expenses.
\- Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, process tenant payments, and ensure timely payment of bills and vendor invoices.
\- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
\- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for review by management and stakeholders.
\- Tenant and Lease Management: Maintain records of lease agreements, rent rolls, and tenant details. Track lease expirations, renewals, and
adjustments in rent.
\- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Prepare documents and assist with internal and external audits.
\- Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure all property taxes are paid on time.
\- Expense Tracking: Monitor and control property expenses, ensuring they remain within budget and are appropriately allocated.
