As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to help maintain accurate financial records, support daily operations, and assist leadership with financial organization and reporting. Position Overview We are looking for a highly organized and detail\-oriented Bookkeeper with experience in QuickBooks Online and service\-based or construction\-related businesses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing financial records independently, maintaining accurate accounts, assisting with invoicing and collections, and helping support the financial systems of a growing company. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling, provided responsibilities and deadlines are consistently met. Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day bookkeeping functions * Record and categorize financial transactions * Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts * Create and track customer invoices * Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices * Process and track accounts payable * Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation * Assist with payroll reporting and payroll recordkeeping * Coordinate with company leadership, CPA, and tax professionals * Prepare monthly financial reports and account summaries * Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and cash flow reporting * Support job costing and project\-based accounting functions * Help improve financial processes and internal organization Required Qualifications * Previous bookkeeping experience * Proficiency with QuickBooks Online * Experience working with a construction, utility, field service, or project\-based business * Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes * Experience with invoicing, collections, and financial reporting * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Reliable internet connection and home office environment Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting payroll administration * Familiarity with contractor and subcontractor accounting * Experience with job costing and project profitability tracking * Experience working with small businesses or growing companies Who Will Succeed in This Role The ideal candidate is someone who: * Enjoys keeping financial records organized and accurate * Takes ownership of their work * Co
